Thursday 15th January saw the launch of the Cambridge News Business Excellence Awards at the Felix Hotel, Cambridge. To enter a company or individual could not be easier simply visit www.cambridge-news.co.uk/cn_buiness_awards and fill in the online nomination form. Now in its 16th year the Cambridge News Business Excellence Awards are the premier event in the business calendar. The level of interest in the awards continues to grow with each year's entries reflecting the depth of entrepreneurial flair that prospers in the area.
This year there are seven categories open for nomination:

Rising Star of the Year
Small Business of the Year

Businesswoman of the Year
Businessman of the Year

This year’s gala dinner will, once again, take place in the prestigious surroundings of King’s College, Cambridge on Thursday 26th March 2009 with an after dinner speech from Kate Adie.
